The Adventurous Little Prince

My son’s loves eating in a restaurant but he is not really choosy with it. We can eat in a carinderia but we can eat in a fast food restaurant or a casual dining restaurant but his favorite is Lutong Macau in SM Megamall.  He favorite food there is Wanton Noodles. He could actually eat all the wanton and there are 5 of them and he loves the soup. But now, he is sad, because the store is now closed. I have no idea if it is just for renovation or it is permanently closed. He was asking me last night, that we should look for another branch of Lutong Macau.

I, my mom and my uncles were talking about Kung Fu Panda today, so this is my share for this week’s Mommy Moments. I really liked this movie and I watched it several times already in our DVD. Actually, I also plays this on the PS2 from time to time. We are all excited for the second installment of the movie that’s why we were talking about it.

The picture below is taken from Heaven’s gate and I am with my Tito Jhon Paul, whom I usually call Tito Po-Paul. We were just spending one afternoon at Heaven’s gate visiting my Great Grandmother.

I am excited to open my gifts at Christmas eve. I would often ask my mom what time is it and when can I open my gifts. Twelve midnight came and we prayed and eat our noche buena. After eating, I was able to open my gifts. I am so excited. After opening my gifts here at home, we went to my Mamu’s house to open my gifts there too given by my Uncles and Mamu. Here’s some of my gifts:

The pajamas was given by my Tito Christian while the water gun was given by my Daddy’s office mate, Tito Larry. I was super excited to see one of the gifts that was given before Christmas when we visited my Mommy’s friend Tita Lanie. The gift was a set of art materials. Actually, I got two of them and I enjoy using it.

My Entry for:

Perfect Christmas for me is very simple, as long as the family is together during Christmas Day. Our small family consists of me, my husband and our little boy. Last year was the first time we celebrated Christmas here at home which is near my parent’s home. During Noche Buena, we eat our food here and after eating we walked to my parent’s place for gift giving and opening. After that, we walk back here at home together with my parents and siblings, again for gift giving and opening. We also had small talk and played PS2 games. On Christmas day, we would wake up early to go to my husband’s parent’s place. Siblings of my husband would also be there together with their kids. We would eat together, talk and have lots of fun. Going to relatives’ houses which is just near the area will also be done for “Aguinaldo” giving. That’s our simple way of celebrating Christmas!

I was looking at my folders here trying to look for pictures last Christmas. But I found nothing. I don’t know if I stored it on another computer or I just don’t have pictures last year. I remember that it was our first time to celebrate Christmas here at home in Cainta. We just transfered in November 2009 and we don’t even have electricity. We got our connection a few days before Christmas so we don’t really have celebrations here. We didn’t celebrate else where, so it was just me, my husband and my son here at home though my mom is just a few blocks away.We had our noche buena here at home and after eating we went to my mother’s house for gift giving. It was fun and my son was very happy. On the day of December 25 we went to my in-laws to join the fun of going to different houses and relatives.

Since, I don’t have pictures, I will just share my son’s Christmas party last year.

This Christmas,  I will see to it that I know where I save my pictures.

The last time we went to the barber shop I was able to take picture of him. He was smiling from time to time.

And the result is:

He don’t want to be “kalbo” anymore, because we use it to tease him sometimes and we will laugh always. He wants a regular school boy cut now.

Jerome James grew up on his paternal grand parents. They were the ones who took care of him while I and my husband are in the office. Though he is not the first grandchild, He is the only grand son that’s why his grandparents are so fond of him. From birth my mother-in-law already assisted me in taking care of my little boy. And I am thankful for her because she really takes good care of my son. I would often tease my husband that my son is the favorite “apo” because sometimes their actions show it. JJ calls her Mama and him Papa, just like the way we call them. Mama was the one who accompanied my son in school when he was in nursery and kinder that’s why whenever there’s activity like Christmas party and field trip we would let her come with us too. The picture below was taken in a field trip at Enchanted Kingdom.

Here’s a picture of JJ and Papa. I am really happy that they love my son so much but I hope they won’t spoil him too much too.

It’s never too late to join Mommy Moments. I am just a day late.
I missed Mommy moments last week, so I don’t want to miss it now. Besides, I have this funny picture of my son that is even set as my cellphone’s wall paper and my PC’s wall paper.

The first picture was taken months ago. It was after drinking milk and he wants to know if has that “bigote.” After seeing the picture, he laughed so hard. The second picture is my new favorite. It was taken two weeks ago when we went to Heaven’s gate. I didn’t even noticed that he made that pose until I browsed my cellphone’s gallery.

This one was taken when he was four, in Makati, in one of the food stall where we ordered our burger. He looks so big already.

I love this one because we were playing and posing funny faces while we try to take picture of ourselves using my cellphone.
