The Adventurous Little Prince

Just as I shared on my previous post, last Sunday was the Feast of Sto.Nino at my father’s side. He has work that day so he wasn’t able to see me during the parade. When he arrived, he was still tired so he has to rest for a while and I ask him to play with me. The classic, Bato bato pick.

As usual, Mommy is holding her camera and asked us to pose for her first so we smiled willingly for her.

For a start, I will share happenings last December.
We went to Greenhills shopping center together with my Tito’s, Mamu and Lolo Daddy. There’s a Christmas show and night market.

This year’s show was fairy tale – Cinderella story inspired.

And since I am little, and there’s a lot of people watching the show, my Daddy have to carry me on his shoulder.

I’m really heavy but he was able to carry me for a while. Of course he got tired too and have to put me down before the show ended.

My mother’s brother, Tito Mej didn’t spend the Christmas at home. He arrived at our home on Tuesday night, I was wearing my pajamas already ready for bed. He handed me a bag of full of McDonald’s Toys, I already have most of them, but one toy stand out, it is from the movie Rio. He said, those are his gifts to me, I don’t mind at all because he already bought me a local transformer toys. I was still thankful for the toys.

He went out again and returned with his “real gift” for me and I was so excited to open it and even more excited when I saw the gift inside.

On a final note, I am thinking of reviving my weekly meme, Daddy and Me, and I still want to run it every Wednesday. I know not all of mommy can join this meme, but still you can, if you have a “father” in your family, it can be your kid’s grandfather, or uncle, or someone he/she looks up to as father. Do you think it would be a good idea to re-start this meme? Do you think someone would join?

Once again it’s Daddy & Me time! When I have an assignment last week to draw and color the Flag of the Philippines I was able to bond with my Daddy. Good thing it was his rest day so we made my assignment together. Most of the time my Mommy would assist me in my assignments but this time, Daddy actually volunteered to assist me.

I was able to use my new art set which was a gift to me last Christmas. We used water color in coloring the parts of the flag. I really enjoyed art time with Daddy because he thought me how to do it better. Too bad, my Mommy wasn’t able to take a picture of the outcome of my flag. The next day, Mommy taught me about the meaning of each colors and symbols. We submitted it to my teacher and she really liked it and when she asked about the meanings I was able to answer her.

I hope to have more art time with Daddy soon!

No, this is not our current hairstyle but I just want to share this with you. My Daddy would always accompany me to the barber shop whenever I need a haircut. Most of the time, Daddy would also have a haircut and often we would have the same hairstyle. Since our weather is hot my hairstyle would often be “kalbo” or bald.

It’s Wednesday once again and its time for Daddy and Me Meme. Pictures of my Daddy and me during our bonding time. My share for this week is about basketball.
Daddy and his office joined a Basketball club this year. I watched almost all the games that he played. Last Monday was their last game. It was the battle for third place. Though there were only 6 players from first to third quarter and one player was able to arrived and played on the fourth quarter they won the game. They are the Third placer for this season, also their first time to join the club. Hopefully next year they will be the Champions. Congratulations to the “Rebels”

This is my Mamu’s(my Mommy’s mother) house. We walk going here and Daddy have no idea why we have to go there. He didn’t know that  My Mommy surprised him with this birthday cake. The celebration was simple, Mommy cooked white spaghetti (my favorite!), chicken and this cake. It was simple and fun, the important thing is that we celebrated it together.

Good thing, Daddy’s rest day this month is Saturday and Sunday, he was able to come with us at Heaven’s gate for a Sunday bonding. We are all wearing shades, Daddy bought those shades at a very low price. And no, I am not mad that time, that is just my way of posing, I call that “pangyabang.”
