I have heard of the word plumbing several times, I know that it is somehow connected with pipes and drainage. Their job is very important from our homes to the big buildings.

One of the hardest things that we have experienced is moving places or transferring to a new house. In our first few years as a family, we have moved four times in four years. It was really hard because of all the packing and unpacking. We didn’t get help from anybody except from a small truck that carried our things but with the packing its just me and my husband. But nowadays, where almost all companies have website, the moving industry have joined the wagon, so even demenagement or what they call movers companies have website so it’s easier to contact them.

Just imagine, if a family needs to move places and needs help not just with the vehicle but also with the packing and unpacking, the website can be very useful by looking for moving company montreal. How I wish, I have availed their services when we transferred house, but the best thing would still be to have a permanent home.

Mommy went home alone today not just because her office hours is shortened on a Saturday but also because my Daddy will be going to Shangri-la Makati to receive an award that is given to selected employees of BDO. Daddy is still at the event but he was able to upload a photo of his award already.

Congratulations Daddy! Keep up the good work as a travelling teller and as a Father to me! Love you!

Yesterday was my First Holy Communion. I am so excited for this day as it would be my first time to receive the body and blood of Christ through the Holy Eucharist. But as a little boy, I can’t help but talk and smile with my school friends…

After the mass and ceremony, my mom took a picture of me near the altar.

Every New year, my grandmother, grandfather, uncles, aunties and cousins on my father’s side would visit us at our home. It has been done for three consecutive years already. This day, my mom got a photo of my Daddy and his brothers and father unfortunately one of them is not around who is working abroad. Hopefully, next year, Tito Mardy would be around to visit us at our home next new year.

Every 24th day of October, different countries celebrate the United Nations Day including the Philippines. Schools would prepare for this big event; students usually wear different national costumes of different countries. This year, the school of my son has this theme: Peace and Unity to Everyone.

The school management encouraged each student to be creative with the costumes; it doesn’t have to be expensive and can even reuse a costume that was used last year. So, my son reused his costume last year which is for Vietnam.

He still looks confident and happy with his costumes and I’m proud of him. One of the costumes that caught my eye is the costume of his classmate, who is representing the Philippines.

There have been a lot of days wherein classes were suspended. Because of the bad weather school officials are forced to suspend their classes even if it will affect the school’s calendar of activities. Because of these, lessons of the students are affected. Some schools would mandate their students to come to school on Saturdays to keep up with the days lost but some schools would just give special projects to their students like writing research paper or giving them long tests.

In the case of my son who is in Grade 2, their school didn’t extend their school days to Saturdays instead they gave them different projects in each subject. Aside from that, their teachers gave them a contract form wherein they need to do several activities at their books and they set a deadline for it. Students who will be able to do the activities early would receive an additional grade. I have been guiding my son with his projects and activities so he could keep up with his classmates, good thing he doesn’t need to know on how to do a research paper yet, but I know soon, I have to teach him that also.
